Reagen Resorts Inn has undergone a stunning remodel, with rooms showcasing a modern design and an exceptional level of cleanliness. However, it's important to note that many of the rooms lack mountain views, which may be a drawback if you're hoping for scenic vistas during your stay in Gatlinburg. Our room, for instance, faced a concert wall, but since we were only there for one night, it wasn’t a major issue. If you're set on experiencing those famous mountain views, you may want to explore other hotels. TIP: PARKING IS TIGHT, SO ARRIVE EARLY AS YOU CAN FOR A GOOD PARKING SPOT.
Since I started this blog, we once again visited Gatlinburg and decided to stay at the Reagan Resort Inn. As always, the room was impeccably clean, which is something I truly appreciate. This time, we booked our stay for a Saturday night, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cost was only $103. It’s a great deal considering the location and the amenities offered. Each visit to Gatlinburg feels like a new adventure, and staying at the Reagan Resort Inn adds to the overall experience. I look forward to sharing more about our travels and the little joys that come with exploring this beautiful place.
During our recent stay at the Reagan Inn Resort, we opted for a room featuring a king bed, and to our delight, it was just as comfortable and appealing as a room with two beds. The spacious layout and tasteful decor created a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. One minor drawback, however, was the hardwood flooring; while it looked elegant, we missed the plush comfort of carpet underfoot. Despite this, the room's other attributes overshadowed this small inconvenience, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Overall, our visit was enjoyable, and the king bed provided a restful night's sleep that we cherished at our stay.
The bathroom was tastefully renovated, offering a blend of modern aesthetics and functionality. One of its standout features was the dimmable mirror, which provided a gentle night light, perfect for those late-night trips. While the space was on the smaller side, it efficiently served its purpose for a comfortable one-night stay. The thoughtful design made the bathroom feel cozy and inviting despite its size, proving that even compact spaces can deliver a pleasant experience. Overall, it was a charming addition that enhanced the overall ambiance of the room.
The Reagan Resort Inn offers a range of balcony views, but guests should manage their expectations. During our first stay, we were greeted by the uninspiring sight of a brick wall, which put a damper on our experience. On our second visit, we were lucky enough to have a limited view of the mountains, although it still fell short of what we had hoped for. For those seeking a more appealing sight, I would recommend reserving a room that overlooks the pool, which can provide a more pleasant backdrop during your stay. While the accommodations themselves may be comfortable, the view options leave much to be desired unless you specifically request the poolside rooms.
Our final thoughts on Reagan Resort Inn
The Reagan Resort Inn offers a charming escape ideal for both a one-night stay or a relaxing long weekend. While it may not be an Embassy or Hilton, it has its own unique appeal that makes it worth considering. Parking can be a bit tight, and the views might not be spectacular, but the hotel's proximity to various attractions is a significant advantage. Although I wished for a complimentary breakfast option, there are plenty of eateries just a stone's throw away, ensuring you won’t go hungry. For anyone visiting Gatlinburg, this inn is arguably one of the best choices for its strategic location, allowing you to easily step out and explore all the excitement the area has to offer.
